An intermodal terminal is being built at the border of Marosdécse for twenty million euros.

The settlement of Marosdécse, belonging to the municipality of Miriszló, has just over six hundred inhabitants, but it has a significant asset: it is an important traffic junction, as the A10 motorway meets the 1 main road here, and one of the most important railway lines in Romania, Bucharest, passes through here. – Main line 300 connecting Brasov – Cluj – Nagyvárad.

However, the development level of the village does not reflect the favorable transport infrastructure, even though the local government also has concession areas. The settlement's fate may take a favorable turn : a Dubai company - through Belgian investors - will build its 20 million euro intermodal terminal here, which will create 30 jobs in the first round. Back in 2008, the municipality of the village approved one of the areas to be taken over by Industrial and Logistics Developments NV for around 56,000 euros per year. The investor paid the rent in advance for six years, which amounts to 339,000 euros, and in addition, the settlement will have a nice profit from taxes and fees.

The terminal will simplify the transport of goods between Transylvania and four seas – the Black Sea, the North Sea, the Baltic Sea and the Adriatic Sea – and at the same time the railway connections will also enable transport to the continental part of Europe. The logistics center, capable of handling 50,000 containers per year, covers an area of eight hectares and is currently halfway through construction. According to estimates, the infrastructure will be put into use by the middle of next year.

According to the calculations of the company's representatives, in the first three years it will be possible to fill up six freight trains per week, which will transport goods throughout Europe.
