A rail and road terminal is being built to serve the BYD factory on the outskirts of Szeged, and MÁV will also receive a capital increase to implement the investment
The government included "further decisions related to the implementation of investments and infrastructure developments related to the expansion of the Szeged industrial area" in a government resolution, which was then published in the Hungarian Gazette.
In order to expand finished goods and container traffic, a capital increase of 14 billion 374 million forints is being implemented at MÁV Zrt., so that railway developments related to the operation of the BYD factory can be implemented.
The Hungarian Gazette also published that MÁV must keep the entire amount of the capital increase in a payment account held with the Hungarian State Treasury until it is used.
In addition, the cabinet may decide on additional resources of a maximum of 5 billion 726 million 433 thousand 800 forints, which can be used for infrastructure and railway developments this year and next year. Minister of Construction and Transport János Lázár has also

The Minister of Construction and Transport can conclude contracts for a maximum of HUF 5 billion 723 million in support for the implementation of the investment in the interests of developments.
It is also important that the lease agreement for the Kiskundorozsma terminal between MÁV and Waberer's is being modified to adapt it to the useful life of the investments.
