WEBINAR on the RAIL FACILITIES PORTAL

15 June 2021 10:00 - 12:00

RailNetEurope (RNE) and UIRR are pleased to invite you to attend their joint Webinar on the Rail Facilities Portal (RFP).

The RFP is the successor of the well-known “Railfreightlocations” portal, initiated and authorised by the European Commission, which has been owned and operated by RNE and jointly managed with UIRR since June 2020.

  • The RFP provides quick access to information on all kinds of rail facilities, in particular rail freight facilities, e.g. for the planning of rail services.
  • Moreover, the RFP helps service facilities operators to comply with their obligations resulting from Directives (EU) 2012/34/EU and (EU) 2177/2017.
  • Finally, the RFP opens new opportunities for all kind of operating facilities to publish their information for marketing purposes.

You can access it via https://railfacilitiesportal.eu/.

In this online event, besides an overall introduction into the RFP provided by RNE and UIRR, high-level speakers from many various types of rail stakeholders (most of them represented by international organisations) will discuss the expectations, experience, and the envisaged future for the RFP with the participants.
