EC public hearing on the revision of Directive 96/53 10/04/12

In preparation of the review of Directive 95/53/EC (weights and dimensions), the Commission organised on the 2nd April a public hearing for the intermodal sector.

The UIRR attended this hearing by repeating that intermodality requires stables framework conditions - including weight and dimensions - to facilitate the necessary investments required for the freight transport system of the future.

At this occasion the UIRR prepared a leaflet summarising some facts and figures related to this dossier.
