SNCF Fret verlässt den intermodalen Güterverkehr

Ausstieg aus Intermodalverkehren bis Ende 2023 Parallel zur Gründung der neuen Unternehmen muss sich Fret SNCF laut Halbjahresbericht aus 23 Blockzugverkehren bis zum 31.12.2023 schrittweise zurückziehen, besonders aus Intermodalverkehren (siehe auch Rail Business 28/23). Außerdem sind weitere Maßnahmen geplant, beispielsweise die Übertragung der Verwaltung und des Betriebs des Logistikzentrums Saint-Priest in der Nähe von Lyon an einen Drittbetreiber; der Verkauf von Vermögenswerten (vor allem Immobilien und Lokomotiven) und mittelfristig die Öffnung des Kapitals der zwei neuen Unternehmen für Dritte als Minderheitsaktionäre. Die SNCF hofft, dass es keine Verpflichtung zur Rückzahlung früherer Zahlungen des französischen Staates für einen Verlustausgleich in Höhe von 5,3 Mrd. EUR geben wird, wenn diese Umwandlung und damit Auflösung von Fret SNCF schnell eingeleitet wird.

SNCF Fret to leave intermodal freight

Intermodal traffic will have to be abandoned by the end of 2023 according to the SNCF Fret semi-annual report must gradually withdraw from 23 block train traffic by December 31, 2023, especially from intermodal traffic (see also Rail Business 28/23).
