Pragmatic approaches to enhancing security (M. Burkhardt) 15/01/09

The Multidisciplinary Inland Transport Security Expert Group of the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UN/ECE) has organised a seminar on the 15th January 2009 in Geneva under the following topic 'Inland transport security - The way ahead: prevention and resilience?'.

The UIRR was represented by Mr. Burkhardt, who held a presentation on the pragmatic approaches to enhancing security in the freight transportation, especially by presenting the results of the COUNTERACT and INSECTT projects.
