ACM: rail freight transport may be more sensitive to supply and demand than ProRail thinks

The Netherlands Authority for Consumers and Markets (ACM) has rejected the new calculation that ProRail intends to apply from 2025 to calculate part of the railway user charge. The body has serious reservations about the way in which ProRail calculates how sensitive rail freight transport is to price changes.
