DescriptionFERRMED annual Worldwide ConferenceThe mentioned study will be finished by the beginning of next year, 2022. Its results and conclusions will be disseminated.The objectives of the Study are:

• Identify the total freight traffic and by mode of transport in the main corridors of the EU Backbone Network.
• Propose an action plan to achieve the objectives of the EU “White Paper” for 2030 (a higher modal share of 30% rail freight by 2030) in the busiest sections of the corridors, which cover 60 ÷ 65% of the traffic related to the “EU Core Network”.
