About UIRR
We bring together 110+ leading Intermodal Transport Operators, Transhipment Terminal Managers, Technology Partners and National Associations to steer the EU policy agenda towards a competitive zero-carbon intermodal transport freight sector for Europe. We also advocate for stronger standards, increased interoperability and harmonised digital, operational, and technical processes.
MEMBERSHIP
UIRR offers three types of membership:
Operators of Combined Transport: a company that has been carrying out for the last 12 months the organisation and/or the marketing of Combined Transport by rail as its main activity (CT operator)
Terminals of Combined Transport: a company that has been owning, operating and/or managing at least one terminal of Combined Transport as one of its main activities*(CT terminal)
Sympathising Member: a company or association, organisation or entity whose activity has a link with the Combined Transport sector, or a company which has a professional activity required to become an active member of category A or category B but which has not yet become an active member
PARTNERSHIP
A UIRR partner is a legal entity with a deep interest in advancing the cause of Combined Transport in Europe. A UIRR partnership agreement is concluded on a one-year basis.
