CDM - Code Data Management

The digital exchange of information between the CT stakeholders is carried out through various data standardised exchange messages such as TAF TSI and EDIGES. In those messaging systems, harmonised codes are used to identify unequivocally some key elements such wagons, loading units, railway locations, goods, damages…

Since several years, UIRR is responsible for the management of codes used in daily CT operations, mainly codes related to customers, terminals and damages. A unique multilingual interface (codes.uirr.com) has been designed to facilitate the management and the proliferation of codes within the sector, in particular with the UIRR member companies and partners.

The current application is currently under new developments in order to create a one-stop-shop for all relevant codes used in Combined Transport. This new platform will be open to any interested parties and will be accessible through a protected area, web services and API.
