The webinar "Rail Ferry – Importance of the Infrastructure and Policy Support", took place on 24 February 2025, from 14:00 to 15:00 CET, online.
This presentation highlighted the opportunities rail ferry lines may bring to the intermodal freight sector, and the interlink between continental Europe and Scandinavia, by offering a seamless rail and sea solution for transporting both transport units and rolling stock. It will examine the potential policy measures that can support rail ferry operators and their users, highlight the regions where these lines operate, and showcase the business and militarily strategic solutions their infrastructure provides.
