The first crane at East Poland Terminal Mala
Translated from Polish
20.11.2025 | The first of two RTG cranes has just been installed at the East Poland Terminal in Małaszewicze, owned by CLIP Group. This represents a significant step forward in the implementation of one of the most important logistics investments in Central and Eastern Europe.
What is worth knowing about our terminal in Małaszewicze?
- Cranes: There will be two modern, electrically powered RTG cranes with a 40-meter span and a lifting capacity of 40 tons. Each will operate on a 750-meter-long carriageway and will be controlled remotely from the operator's center.
- Track system: The terminal will be equipped with 6 tracks , adapted to handle entire trains on both broad gauge (1520 mm) and standard gauge (1435 mm).
- Investment scope: We are building a new track system, modernising arrival and departure tracks, creating maneuvering areas, roads and full technical infrastructure.
- Technology: We implement state-of-the-art handling equipment and IT systems (TOS), integrated with the crane management system.
- Implementation model: "Design and build" – the contractor is TorKol.
- Planned completion: June 2026.
- Goal: Increasing the capacity of the New Silk Road corridor, shortening transport times and strengthening Poland's position as a key logistics hub in Europe.
" This is a game-changing investment in intermodal logistics. CLIP Group focuses on fast, ecological, and integrated transport solutions, responding to the challenges of the global economy," the release stated.
