METRANS will acquire a 50% stake in AFLUENT South Terminal in Arad
HHLA Group intermodal operator METRANS has entered into an agreement to acquire a 50% stake in the AFLUENT South Terminal in Arad, Romania. The transaction is subject to regulatory approval.
METRANS will acquire a stake in the Arad terminal, located near the Hungarian border and the city of Szeged, where the Czech operator is building another intermodal terminal. METRANS will launch regular connections to and from Arad in 2021.
