Rail freight transport wants to be given priority more often
CAPACITY ALLOCATION
Interest group RailGood, DB Cargo Nederland, shippers' organization Evofenedex and the Port of Amsterdam do not agree with a proposed change to the capacity allocation on the railways by the ministry. This determines which type of train has priority in case of conflicting requests. According to Hans-Willem Vroon, director of RailGood, the position of freight transport on the rail has decreased further as a result of this change.
