What is the UIRR CT Growth Index?
An annual statistics indicator, which shows the year-on-year growth rate of UIRR member CT Operators on the basis of 1990=100 and with membership impacts neutralised. The UIRR Growth Index is calculated for both number of consignments and tonne-kilometres using the annual statistics data provided by the member companies. The UIRR Growth Index is published within the UIRR Report’s statistics section as well as in the statistics section of the UIRR website.
Since when has the CT Growth Index been compiled, and what is the frequency of its issuance?
UIRR produces the CT Growth Index since 1990. Since then the Index is calculated annually.
Where did the Growth Index stand at the end of the last business year?
On 31 December 2024 the Growth Index stood at 270% in tonne-kilometre basis and 257% when expressed in consignments (1990=100).
