What is the UIRR Performance Gauge?
A quarterly quick survey conducted of UIRR members covering the number of consignments carried by CT Operator members and the number of consignments handled at UIRR terminals. The survey is conducted during the first 2 weeks following the closing of each quarter.
The Performance Gauge is a consolidated delta value (or difference) compared to the same quarter a year earlier expressed as a percentage. The objective is to provide a direction of performance for the three-month-period that has just ended, which is published on the cover page of the quarterly UIRR newsletter.
Since when has the Index been compiled, and what is the frequency of its issuance?
UIRR began surveying its members and issuing the Performance Gauge starting 1 January 2016. Since then every quarter the survey is done and the result published in UIRR’s newsletter.
